This is bar of soap is very close to a pure castile soap.  Castile soap is one of the oldest forms of pure vegetable based soaps, reputed to have originated in Castile Castle as early as 1567.  Many soap purists will say that to truly be "Castile" soap, it has to be made from 100% olive oil.  However, pure olive oil doesn't make the best lather, so this soap incorporates coconut oil as well.

Lemongrass is the only essential oil used in this very simple soap.  It provides a refreshing, uplifting, invigorating aroma.
